Italian finance police on Thursday seized properties worth around 20 million euros from individuals suspected of fleecing Swiss actress Ursula Andress.

The operation was linked to an investigation by the Florence Public Prosecutor's Office stemming from a complaint the 90-year-old move star made with the judicial authorities of the canton of Vaud against individuals entrusted with managing her finances.

They are accused of gradually depleting her estate and the seized properties are alleged the proceeds of the wrongdoing.

The finance police seized 11 luxury properties and 14 plots of land, including vineyards and olive groves in the countryside near the Tuscan town of San Casciano Val di Pesa, as well as works of art.

The suspects are accused of money laundering and self-laundering.
