Chief Minister Rekha Gupta called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday and discussed the holistic development of Delhi.

“I had a warm meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and received his invaluable guidance. His visionary leadership and special affection for Delhi always fill us with renewed energy and inspiration. During this inspiring interaction, detailed discussions were held regarding the holistic development of Delhi, the strengthening of its infrastructure, and the resolve to fulfil the aspirations of the people,” Ms. Gupta said in a post on X.

“With the able guidance and continuous support of the Prime Minister, we are fully committed to taking Delhi to new heights of progress, prosperity, and good governance,” she added.

Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister felicitated 56 youths who cleared the civil services examination at the ‘Delhi ke Gaurav: UPSC Achievers Felicitation Ceremony 2026’.

According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), she said, “The Delhi government is continuously working to make the capital’s education system more robust, inclusive, and competitive, ensuring that a significant number of IAS, IPS, and other officers emerge from Delhi every year.”
