French voters cast their ballots to elect their municipal councils and mayors on Sunday, March 15. In cities where no candidate reached 50%, a second round will be held on March 22. The threshold for qualifying for the second round is 10%, and candidates also have the possibility of merging their tickets in the hopes of combining their scores in the second round.
