Two persons were arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Intelligence Unit (ANIU) in Thirumangalam for possession of narcotic substances.Acting on specific intelligence, ANIU officials along with the Thirumangalam police conducted surveillance on Ambattur Estate Road on Wednesday and intercepted two suspects travelling on motorcycles. During the search, they were found in possession of narcotic substances meant for sale.The arrested persons were identified as Sanjay Kumar, 23, of Thirumullaivoyal and Nandakumar, 29, of Pattabiram. Police seized 4 grams of methamphetamine, 14 grams of OG ganja, 21 LSD stamps, two two-wheelers and two mobile phones from them.
