The Anti-Narcotics Intelligence Unit (ANIU) arrested two persons in Saidapet on Tuesday for possessing LSD stamps, MDMA tablets, and ganja meant for illegal sale. Police seized 50 LSD stamps, nine MDMA tablets, 50 grams of ganja, one ganja paste, two mobile phones, and two two-wheelers from the accused.

According to the police a team led by an ANIU Inspector, along with personnel from the Saidapet Police Station, conducted a surveillance on Tuesday afternoon near Theradi Street, close to Saidapet railway station.

Two men found standing near the vehicles were questioned and the narcotic substances were seized from them. The arrested accused were Prabhakaran, 27, of Saidapet, and Harisudhan, 23, of Selaiyur.
