Members of the Federation of Revenue Associations launched a relay wait-in protest over a nine-fold demand charter on Wednesday (February 25, 2026) in Krishnagiri as part of the State-wide protests.The association demanded a special legislation to protect the staffs of Revenue, Disaster Management and Land Survey Departments, and added that there is an immediate need for the legislation to protect life and property of the Revenue Department’ staff. They also demanded hike in pay and separate pay for Revenue and Disaster Management staff, taking the workloads into consideration, and time-scale pay for village assistants in the Revenue Department.The protesters insisted that their demands had to be met even as the talks with the government had hit an impasse.
