Members of the Tamil Nadu Revenue Officers Association (TNROA) have announced a series of agitations against the Tamil Nadu government and to draw the attention of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin to get their long-pending demands implemented swiftly.

Speaking to media persons on Sunday, TNROA president M.P. Murugaiyan, State general secretary S Sankaralingam and other office-bearers said that at a time when the employees were finding it tough with implementation of many welfare programmes, the recently launched “Ungaludan Stalin” among others had led to an added burden and exhaustion to their workload.

The association’s central executive committee meeting was held in Krishnagiri on July 31. Many resolutions were passed.

It was resolved to meet the Chief Secretary on August 7 and apprise the official of the issues.

In the next phase, the meeting resolved to abstain from their works (an hour earlier) on August 12 and stage demonstrations in front of collectorates/headquarters.
