A year after achieving a life-long dream of appearing on Broadway, Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson attained another cultural milestone.

Jackson attended the Grammys on Feb. 1 as a nominee for best audio book, narration and storytelling recording for the audio of her 2025 memoir “Lovely One.”

The camera cut to Jackson, smiling in a sparkly, gold gown as Grammy host Trevor Noah gave a shout out.

“With her being here, you know what that means,” Noah said. “For the first time ever, if you lose a Grammy, you can appeal directly to the Supreme Court.”

More: Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson can throw a punch. Literally.
