Dec. 15 (UPI) -- Police arrested Nick Reiner for the stabbing deaths of his parents, filmmaker Rob Reiner and producer Michele Reiner, online records from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department indicated.
Law enforcement arrested Nick Reiner on Sunday, hours after an ambulance was called to his parents' house in Brentwood. Both Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner were found dead from multiple stab wounds.
The LASD listed only Nick Reiner's charge level -- a felony -- and not the specific charge. It said he was being held on $4 million bail.
Two unnamed law enforcement sources confirmed to NBC News that Nick Reiner was being held in connection to the deaths. Multiple unnamed sources who spoke to surviving family members told People magazine that Nick Reiner killed his parents.
