Abroad centre-left alliance is set to continue governing Campania and Puglia and the centre right will stay in charge of Veneto, according to exit polls after Sunday and Monday's elections in the regions.

In Campania, former Lower House Speaker and 5-Star Movement (M5S) member was set to get between 56.5% and 60.5% of the vote, according to an Opinio exit poll for State broadcaster Rai, while the centre-right candidate Edmondo Cirielli was on between 35% and 39%.

In Puglia, former Bari mayor Antonio Decaro was on a range of between 64% and 68%, with the centre right's Luigi Lobuono set to get 30-34 %, according to another Opinio poll.

But the centre right looks set to hold its stronghold of Veneto, with Alberto Stefani on 59-63%, compared to 30-34% for the centre left's Giovanni Manildo.
