Cold and sever weather is to continue to sweep in Italy in the next few days with more rain and snow expected, a forecaster said Monday.
The cold and severe weather that has hot the Belpaese over the last two days will continue in Italy, with temperatures below the seasonal average, according to Federico Brescia, meteorologist for iLMeteo.it.
This unstable weather pattern will bring more rain and snowfall.
The start of the week will be marked by a new low-pressure system that will primarily affect the central and southern Tyrrhenian regions, while heavy snow will fall in the Alps.
"Heavy precipitation is expected," he says, "with particular attention to Lazio and Campania, where the phenomena could take on the character of a thunderstorm.
