Frontline,the fortnightly news magazine published by The Hindu Group, has won three awards at the 15th edition of the Laadli Media and Advertising Awards for Gender Sensitivity.
Devika J. won under the Op-Ed category for her article, where she analysed Kerala’s feminist movements, while Sanhati Banerjee received the Jury Appreciation Award for coverage of protests following the rape and murder of a Kolkata doctor which exposed contradictions in the state government’s claims about women’s safety.
