The Hindu photojournalists win prizes at APPJA National Photography Contest 2025, awards to be presented on World Photography Day.
Two photojournalists from The Hindu secured prizes, while two others received certificates of merit in the recently-held Andhra Pradesh Photo Journalists Association (APPJA) National Photography Contest 2025.
The photography contest organised by APPJA saw participation from at least 135 photojournalists from Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Indore, Kerala, Goa, Karnataka, Chennai, Gujarat and Telangana. Around 550 photos were selected in the two sections.
