U.S. Treasury yields held steady on Thursday as investors welcomed the end of the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.

At 5:45 a.m. ET, the 10-year Treasury

yield was little changed 4.083%. The 2-year note yield was up 1 basis point to 3.583%, while the 30-year bond yield was up less than 1 basis point to 4.668%.

One basis point is equal to 0.01% and yields and prices move in opposite directions.
