U.S. Treasury yields were little changed on Friday as investors weighed the state of the U.S. economy after the government shutdown ended.

At 5:33 a.m. ET, the 10-year Treasury yield was up over 1 basis point to 4.13%. The 2-year note yield was little changed at 3.587%, while the 30-year bond yield was up 2 basis points to 4.729%.

One basis point equals 0.01% and yields move inversely to prices.

President Donald Trump signed into law a funding bill, late Wednesday evening, which ended the longest running U.S. government shutdown. The measure was passed by the House of Representatives in a 222-209 vote.
