President Donald Trump is trying to have it both ways when discussing his plans for 2028 elections.

Although the U.S. Constitution forbids Trump from running for a third term, there have been hints from supporters like Steve Bannon that he will run again in 2028.

Trump didn’t completely dismiss another campaign run despite the illegality of it when asked about on Monday.

“I haven’t really thought about it. I have the best poll numbers I’ve ever had,” he told reporters, but added, “Am I not ruling it out? I mean, you’ll have to tell me.”

But while Trump teased running for a possible third term, he also suggested another option: A GOP ticket that he claimed would be “unstoppable.”
