Alec Baldwin and Stephen Baldwin are marking themselves as safe after they were involved in a car accident that "smashed up" Hilaria Baldwin's Range Rover.
Within hours of TMZ reporting that the Baldwins' car smashed into a tree in East Hampton, New York, on Oct. 13, Alec took to Instagram to describe the incident in detail.
"This morning, I was in a car accident. A guy cut me off in a truck, a big garbage truck the size of a whale," the 67-year-old actor said in a video. "To avoid hitting him, I hit a tree. I hit a big, fat tree. It crushed my wife's car."
"I crushed my wife's car; I feel bad about that," he continued. "It's all fine; I'm fine. My brother's fine."
Stephen, 59, was in town because the brothers had gone to the Hamptons International Film Festival over the weekend.
