A series of emails were sent to hundreds of citizens demanding payment of alleged arrears for healthcare services, tests, and medications.
The Postal Police, coordinated by Milan prosecutor Enrico Pavone, is investigating the attack, presumably from Eastern Europe.
The alleged crime is fraud.
