A guest at Universal Orlando's new Epic Universe theme park has died after riding the Stardust Racers roller coaster.An autopsy determined the cause of death was "multiple blunt impact injuries" and ruled it an accident.Universal Orlando Resort closed the ride following the incident and is cooperating with the investigation.A guest at Universal Orlando Resort's new Epic Universe theme park has died of "multiple blunt impact injuries" after riding its most thrilling roller coaster.According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, 32-year-old Kevin Rodriguez Zavala was found unresponsive on Stardust Racers and transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.An autopsy detemined the cause of death to be multiple blunt impact injuries and the death to be an accident, according to Orange and Osceola Counties Chief Medical Examiner Joshua Stephany.In a statement shared with USA TODAY, Universal Orlando Resort said, "We are devastated by this tragic event and extend our sincerest sympathies to the guest's loved ones. We are fully cooperating with Orange County and the ongoing investigation."Stardust Racers was closed following the incident on the night of Sept. 17. It remained closed on Sept. 18.It's one of Epic Universe's most popular attractions. The dueling coaster hits speeds up to 62 miles per hour and features 5,000 feet of track.
