In view of engineering works, there will be changes in the operation of a few train services on September 12.
A release from the Salem Railway Division said, earlier, the changes were scheduled for September 11 (Thursday), but the works have now been rescheduled to September 12. Therefore, there will be no alterations in the services of Train No.56809 Tiruchi – Erode Passenger, Train No.16845 Erode – Sengottai Express and Train No.16846 Sengottai – Erode Express on September 11. The trains will run as per schedule.
On September 12, the following changes will be in effect. Train No.56809 Tiruchi – Erode Passenger, scheduled to leave Tiruchi Junction at 7.20 a.m., will be short-terminated at Karur Junction. The service from Karur to Erode will not be operated on that day. Train No.16845 Erode – Sengottai Express, scheduled to leave Erode Junction at 2 p.m., will depart from Karur Junction at 3.05 p.m.. The service between Erode and Karur will be cancelled. Train No.16846 Sengottai – Erode Express, scheduled to leave Sengottai at 5.10 a.m., will be short-terminated at Karur Junction. The service between Karur and Erode will not be run on that day, the release added.
