A special education loan mela for college students will be conducted at the Erode Collectorate on September 17.
A release from district Collector S. Kandasamy said the mela was aimed at ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent students from pursuing higher education. Both, newly admitted students and those already studying in colleges, can benefit from this initiative. Banks will participate in the programme and take up applications for immediate scrutiny and sanction of loans.
