A 16-year-old girl called police to her Texas home on Sunday over an alleged row, with cops then discovering her parents had died in an apparent murder-suicide.
The teenager waited outside for police after witnessing her parents having an argument, according to the local sheriff in Houston.
Family members told investigators the couple had been in an ongoing dispute and may have been considering divorce, TV station KPRC reported.
Sheriff's deputies arrived at the house near Katy around 10.00pm Sunday, where they found both the husband and wife dead inside.
Neither of the couple's names had been made public by Monday, pending the completion of an autopsy, authorities told the Daily Mail.
