As many as 1291 roads were badly damaged incurring a loss of ₹374 crore during the unprecedented heavy rains that lashed Kamareddy, Medak, Rajanna Sircilla, Nirmal, Nizamabad and old Warangal districts from August 26 to 28.

Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Danasari Anusuya alias Seethakka, who is the incharge Minister of Kamareddy, held a teleconference with PR officials to assess the damages caused due to the heavy rains in the last three days.
