A court in Bhadravathi on Saturday convicted three people accused of murder, while pronouncing the death penalty for two of them.
The convicted have been identified as Lakshmi, a government school teacher in Bhadravathi; and Krishnamurthy and Shivaraju of Jannapura in Bhadravathi. The court sentenced Lakshmi and Krishnamurthy to the death penalty for committing the murder of Imtiyaz Ahmed, the husband of Lakshmi.
