Ernakulam District Collector G. Priyanka has said that the ‘Operation Breakthrough’ project for resolving flooding in the city will be further intensified.

She was addressing a meet-the-press organised by the Ernakulam Press Club, her first since assuming charge earlier this month, here on Saturday (August 16, 2025). “Restoration of the Mullassery Canal remains to be completed. Discussions will be held with the agencies concerned to proceed with the pending works,” Ms. Priyanka said.
