Involving the denizens of the city in cracking the whip on traffic violations, the Kurnool city police have launched a WhatsApp number to which any individual can send a photo or video of any violation for the police to take action. Photos or videos related to triple riding, wrong parking, wrong route driving and others can be sent to the WhatsApp number.
Launching the ‘Nenu Traffic Mithra’ (I am a friend of Traffic Police) at the Kondareddy Buruju in Kurnool city on Thursday, Superintendent of Police Vikrant Patil said the programme was launched to partner the people, auto drivers, and others with the police in discharging their duties and sought the support of the people and youth.
