South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava inspected the Pagidipalli-Guntur-Vijayawada section on Tuesday. He along with Guntur Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Sudeshna Sen and Vijayawada DRM Mohit Sonakiya checked the condition of tracks and signal systems through rear window inspection, and enquired with officers about the safety measures.
Mr. Srivastava inspected the Mangalagiri station and enquired about the ongoing Amrit Bharat Station works. He directed officers to maintain quality and ensure timely completion of works.
Later, he conducted a review meeting with Vijayawada railway officers, and enquired about various projects and development works and instructed them to follow safety precautions.
Leaders of various unions submitted representations to the General Manager during his visit to the stations.
Heads and officers of various departments, who accompanied the GM, explained on the ongoing projects.
