Two persons drowned in a waterbody in Kurangani in Theni district. They were identified as Jahangir, 47, and his relative, Majith, 52. According to the police, the two men had gone to the waterbody for bathing on Sunday. They were swept away. The bodies were retrieved on Monday morning. Kurangani police have registered a case and further investigations are on.
