Aschool janitor who was working to make ends meet fell and died from the roof of a supermarket in Sicily Monday.
The 55-year-old man died in Serradifalco, in the province of Caltanissetta, after falling from a height of over three meters.
The accident occurred in a supermarket in via Cavalieri di Vittorio Veneto, where Salvatore Cumbo was assembling panels.
The man, who worked as a school assistant in a school, had agreed to install panels on the building, apparently - according to initial information - an occasional job to make ends meet.
The 118 emergency medical service was sent by helicopter but when the paramedics arrived there was nothing more to be done.
