Elon Musk among major tech figures calling for ‘slow down’ of AI development

The warnings follow growing industry concerns over existential AI threats, underscored by the resignation of Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon, who stated that many developers believe the technology could pose catastrophic risks by the end of the decade.
