Scott McTominay ruled out of Napoli’s clash with Arsenal after heart procedure

The 29-year-old was diagnosed with a mild benign arrhythmia, an irregular heart rhythm that poses no significant threat to his health. Following the successful ablation procedure, McTominay will rest for two weeks before resuming training with the Italian club. He will miss Napoli’s Champions League clash against Arsenal on Wednesday, as well as upcoming Nations League fixtures at the start of Sebastien Pocognoli’s tenure as Scotland manager. McTominay is expected to be available again after the international break, potentially returning for Napoli’s fixture against Frosinone on 10 October.
