A lawyer for an anonymous whistleblower says Postal Service plans for an unusual verification rule, combined with a hastily built online system, could delay mail ballots from reaching eligible voters.

The Supreme Court is considering Trump’s plan for the mass rejection of mail ballots. Whatever happens, many ballots may be tossed due to USPS delays.

The whistleblower says the U.S. Postal Service has ignored court orders and is moving forward with a plan that could completely “derail” the midterm elections.

The whistleblower's complaint comes as the Trump administration's U.S. Postal Service ballot rule is being challenged in court.
