The August 26 disaster, triggered by a glacier collapse, has killed hundreds of people and left thousands missing, including hundreds of Indians, on Nepal-China border.

Massive landslides and catastrophic flash floods have wreaked havoc at the Nepal-China border, destroying houses, wiping out bridges and killing at least 538 people.

The US Geological Survey said the disaster that struck the Tibet-Nepal border was caused by a glacial collapse, which sent a large flow of debris downstream. | India News
