‘Saptadhara’: Manufacturing to soft power, PM Modi unveils 7-stream blueprint for Viksit Bharat

From the Red Fort, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled ‘Saptadhara’, a seven-stream roadmap for India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047. The seven streams cover manufacturing power, agriculture and food processing, technology and innovation, Gati Shakti, defence self-reliance, the green and blue economies, and India’s soft power. Modi stressed that Indian products must compete globally on cost, quality and scale, with the entire value chain developed domestically. He also called for a change in India’s work culture, thinking and pace of execution to achieve Viksit Bharat@2047.
