A US federal court on Thursday threw out a Trump administration lawsuit against Harvard University which accused the prestigious institution of permitting antisemitism during pro-Palestinian rallies on campus.

A federal judge dismissed the government’s antisemitism lawsuit against Harvard, ruling that the incidents cited were “too isolated and episodic” to be a violation.

The lawsuit was the basis for the Trump administration’s demands for Harvard to make financial and policy changes over pro-Palestinian protests in 2023 and 2024.
