Path of totality brings brief daylight darkness and plunging temperatures

Spain, Iceland and Greenland will see totality as the sun, moon and Earth align near sunset; an even longer eclipse in 2027 will also be visible from Israel

On August 12, nearly one billion people could see a partial solar eclipse, with 15 million in its path of totality.
