Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says Kyiv will intensify long-range “deep strikes” inside Russia to raise the cost of the war and pressure Moscow toward peace. Ukraine has already expanded attacks on Russian oil, military and logistics targets far from the front line; Moscow says such strikes also cause civilian casualties, including a reported deadly drone attack in Tatarstan on August 10.
