The cruise ship Wilderness Legacy came to the aid of the 21-foot skiff, which had run out of fuel near Farragut Bay on 1 August, according to the Alaska Beacon.A passenger on the cruise ship claimed that Launchpad was closer to the stranded vessel and that passengers booed upon hearing it did not respond. A spokesperson for Zuckerberg confirmed that neither the Meta CEO nor his family were on board the 387ft vessel during the incident. The spokesperson said that the yacht crew was operating on a different radio channel and that assistance was already underway by the time they noticed the broadcast.
