A teenage student killed eight people, including his grandparents, before dying during a shooting at a high school in Thailand's Nonthaburi province, just north of Bangkok, authorities said. According to Thai police, the attacker first used his grandfather's handgun to fatally shoot his grandparents before traveling to Debsirin Nonthaburi School in Bang Kruai district.

Police have identified the perpetrator as a student.

The 14-year-old fatally shot his grandparents at their home, before killing at least five teachers and staff members in the school.
