Boxer appears in court charged with killing British woman in Greece

Ms Ross, 38, was discovered by a homeless man in a derelict building in the Kypseli area of Athens on 18th July, with authorities identifying her using fingerprints. Ahmadzai faces charges of homicide with intent, equivalent to murder in Scotland, and allegations of stealing over 10,000 euro from Ms Ross's bank accounts. During his court appearance, Ahmadzai did not speak or enter a plea, and the judge ordered him to be held in pre-trial detention while further evidence is gathered. Police allege Ahmadzai sent messages from Ms Ross's phone to her family and friends, and later impersonated a jihadist to her friends, claiming he killed her due to her religion.
