Disney Says Commercials for Super Bowl LXI Have Sold Out
This is believed to be the earliest Super Bowl ads have sold out. Disney received record pricing for the game airing on ABC and ESPN.
The upcoming Super Bowl LXI, set to be a landmark event in ESPN history, is already sold out in advertising.
The company had been seeking up to $10 million for 30 second ads for the event, which will be the first Super Bowl hosted by ESPN.
In the lead-up to ABC's first Super Bowl since 2016 (and ESPN's first Super Bowl, period), marketers have snapped up all available in-game ad units.
Disney announced that it sold out of Super Bowl inventory and closed its upfront during its fiscal third-quarter earnings call.
