Chinook-helikopters scheppen bluswater uit de Maas, terwijl Holthees vooral de rookoverlast van de natuurbrand ‘proeft’

Vuur: In Venray breidde de natuurbrand zich uit naar circa honderd hectare, terwijl tientallen brandweervoertuigen en Chinook-helikopters vanuit allerlei regio’s worden ingezet. Intussen blust de Brandweer Limburg-Noord bij voorkeur „achter het vuur aan” om dicht bij „de motor van de brand” te komen.
