The Gani Fawehinmi Memorial Organization (GAFAMORG) has condemned the Nigerian government’s failure in education, declaring that every day Nigerian students remain out of school is "a national tragedy." The group threw its weight behind the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and other democratic groups, accusing the Nigerian government of failing to prioritise education and calling for urgent action to restore academic activities in public tertiary institutions.
