The State on Tuesday sought to bolster its case that evidence obtained during the arrest of accused number one Musa Kekana was lawfully obtained, with Tactical Response Team Captain Alfred Sekgobela testifying that Kekana consented to searches of his vehicle and home before officers recovered evidence now at the centre of a trial-within-a-trial.

The main trial was paused last Friday, allowing for the trial within a trial to commence
