RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a series of calls with counterparts from the UK, Qatar and Kuwait on Monday to discuss regional developments and efforts to strengthen security and stability. During a call with the UK’s Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, Prince Faisal congratulated him on assuming office and expressed his hope for closer cooperation to further strengthen relations between the two countries, the Saudi Press Agency reported. Miliband thanked the Saudi foreign minister and reaffirmed Britain’s commitment to developing Saudi-British ties.
