Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) and human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, has accused President Bola Tinubu's administration of operating for personal gain rather than public service, alleging that the President is "not running a government" but "running a racket" in which public officials are driven by self-interest instead of serving the Nigerian people.

Speaking on why he believes he is facing continuous prosecution, Sowore argued that the country's justice system has been weaponised against dissenters.
