NDLEA Arrests Couple Running Alleged Drug Warehouse In Edo, Seizes Over 412kg Of Cannabis

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a married couple in Benin City, Edo State capital, after uncovering an alleged illegal drug warehouse stocked with hundreds of kilograms of suspected narcotics hidden inside a residential neighbourhood. The Edo State Commander of the NDLEA, Mitchell Ofoyeju, announced the arrest in a statement issued on Monday, saying the operation was carried out after the agency received credible intelligence on the suspects' alleged drug trafficking activities.
