No less than 10,000 residents across 20 villages in Iran's southern Hormozgan Province have been left without access to drinking water after a United States airstrike reportedly destroyed critical water infrastructure, as Washington continued its military campaign against the Islamic Republic. Iranian authorities said as quoted by Iran’s Tasnim news agency, the strike hit the Bunji desalination facility in Jask County, destroying water pumping equipment and disrupting potable water supply to thousands of civilians.
