Iranian authorities said as quoted by Iran’s Tasnim news agency, the strike hit the Bunji desalination facility in Jask County, destroying water pumping equipment and disrupting potable water supply to thousands of civilians.

According to Hamzeh Pour, Chief Executive Officer of the Hormozgan Water and Wastewater Company, the attack "completely disrupted the supply of drinking water to 20 villages with a population of approximately 10,000 people."
