British runner Josh Kerr broke the men's mile world record in London on Saturday, crossing the finish line in 3 minutes, 42.77 seconds.

At the London Diamond League on Saturday, 2024 Olympic 1,500m silver medallist Kerr will try to beat a time that has stood since 1999.
